On the 20th and 21st May 2021, University of London (UCL, a TURNkey partner) and Tohoku University will co-host the workshop: “Developing next-generation earthquake and tsunami early warning systems for the enhancement of disaster resilience in urban societies”. The workshop will provide a forum for sharing experiences of earthquake and tsunami early warning in Europe and Japan, building a foundation for the development of next-generation early warning systems in both regions. Expert speakers from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), Risk Management Solutions (RMS), and University of Huddersfield will take part to the event. Prior registration is required.
